History

The Keravan Mafia is a boardgame invented by some random people from Kerava, Finland. The first version was created around year 2005. That first version was a very heavy, extra long, crazy version with huge amount of ideas and stuff.
The second version that is the version sold today, was created around year 2007 from the ideas of the first version. This one took the best ideas from the first version and it found a very compact and cool board design. Quickly by play testing it became evident that this version was a success. After that initial invention of the second version, it has got loads of play testing and it has got better and better with small improvements all the time. 

Game Story

Kerava is a small town nearby Helsinki, the capitol of Finland. It is 3rd in the population density in Finland (1200persons / km2). You as a player, are a poor fellow from Kerava, with just one aspiration: to become the first ruling mafioso of Kerava. You start with just 300 euros in bank account and with the lowest income that you can have in Finland, just 300euros per month from social security office called KELA.
Your aim is to collect more money from KELA, and start using it wisely (or very much not so) for drugs, guns, property, vehicles, guards and so on.

Victory conditions
Victory can be achieved by three different ways and strategies:
-Real estate, buy many locations from Kerava and become the best mafioso by income victory.
-Drug dealing, buy drugs from the center of Kerava and deliver them for profit. 15 000 sales and you win!
-Killing other players, the way to go for violent players. 3-6 kills to become the best!

What to do in the game
There is many things you can do in Kerava. Move around and collect more money, maybe go for a beer and see what happens in a bar chance. Go buy property or drugs for money and income. Get a vehicle for faster movement speed and seats for your future guards. if you want you can go to school to get more skills. And ofcourse you can go buy guns and armors and shooting around. 
The police is waiting for you, if you decide to start drug business or violence!
